Washington, D.C. 20433 United States of America Re: INDIA: Credit No. 2936-IN (Tuberculosis Control Project) Performance Monitoring Indicators, Tribal Areas Plan of Action, Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTP) and Eligibility Criteria for District RNTP Participation Dear Sirs and Mesdames: This refers to Sections 1.02(i) and 3.04(a) of the Development Credit Agreement (Agreement) of even date herewith between India (the Borrower) and International Development Association (the Association) for the above-captioned Project and paragraphs 5(a) and 12(a) of Schedule 4 to the Agreement. Unless agreed otherwise with the Association, the Borrower and the Project States shall: (i) monitor andevaluate implementation of the Project in accordance with the performance monitoring indicators set forth in Attachment 1 hereto; (ii) implement the strategy in tribal areas in accordance with the Plan of Action set forth in Attachment 2 hereto; and (iii) ensure that only such districts that have met the eligibility criteria for each level of participation, as set forth in Attachment 3 hereto, shall participate in the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTP). Further, it is agreed that RNTP referred to in Section 1.02(i) of the Agreement is set out in Attachment 4 hereto.
