Washington, D.C. 20008 Re: Loan No. 3910 CHA (Inland Waterways Project) Dear Sir: Enclosed are the following documents regarding the above-mentioned Loan, which are delivered to you as the authorized representative of Guangxi-Zhuangzu Autonomous Region: 1. One signed copy and one certified conformed copy of the Project Agreement between the Bank and Guangxi-Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, Hunan Province and Zhejiang Province; 2. One certified conformed copy of the Loan Agreement between People's Republic of China and the Bank; 3. One copy of the General Conditions Applicable to Loan and Guarantee Agreements of the Bank, dated January 1, 1985; 4. One copy of the Guidelines for Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, dated January 1995; and 5. One copy of the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers and by The World Bank as Executing Agency, dated August 1981. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 6.03 of the Loan Agreement, November 29, 1995 is the terminal date for effectiveness of the Loan Agreement and Project Agreement. Please confirm on behalf of Guangxi-Zhuangzu Autonomous Region receipt of the documents listed above by signing the enclosed copy of this letter.
