Box M40 Accra, Ghana Credit No. 2278 GH (Community Secondary Schools Construction Project) Amendment of Development Credit Agreement Dear Sir, We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (Community Secondary Schools Construction Project), dated July 8, 1991, between the Republic of Ghana (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association). Further to the discussions held with the representatives of the Borrower, we are pleased to inform you that the Association hereby agrees to the following amendments to the above-referenced Development Credit Agreement: a. The date of December 31, 1994 is hereby established for purposes of Section 2.03. b. Section 3.04(b)(ii) is amended by replacing the reference to "at least 33 percent" with "at least 10 percent". c. Category (1) of the table set out in paragraph 1 of Schedule I is amended by replacing the figure of "67%" in the third column with "90%". Please indicate the agreement of the Borrower with the foregoing by countersigning and dating the form of confirmation on the two original copies of this letter and returning one original, as countersigned, to us. This amendment shall become effective as of the date of receipt by the Association of this letter duly countersigned on behalf of the Borrower.
