Joint Press Release • INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION For Immediate Release SUBJECT: Membership of Liberia March 28, 1962 Liberia today became a member of the International Monetary Fund, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation and the International Development Association when the Articles of' Agreement of' the four institutions were signed in Washington on behalf of' the Government of' Liberia by the Ambassador, His Excellency S. Edward Peal. Liberia's quota in the International Monetary Fund is $11,250,000; its • subscription to the capital stock of the International Bank is 150 shares with a total pa.r value of $15,000,000; its subscription to the International Finance Corporation is $83,000; and its subscription to the International Development Association is $760,000.
