Page 1 Mr. Juan Vital Sourrouille Ministro de Economia Ministerio de Economia Buenos Aires, Argentina Re: Loan No. 2815 AR Trade Policy and Export Diversification Loan Amendment to the Loan Agreement Dear Mr. Minister: Please refer to the Loan Agreement (the Loan Agreement), dated July 29, 1987, as amended to date, between the International Bank for Recon-struction and Development (the Bank) and the Argentine Republic (the Bor-rower) for the above-mentioned loan. I am pleased to advise you that the Bank agrees to your recent request to amend the Loan Agreement in order to include provisions related to the parallel cofinancing loan, referred to in the Loan Agreement, by private commercial banks. Accordingly, the Loan Agreement'is hereby amended by adding, immedi-ately after Section 4.01 thereof, a new Section 4.02 which shall,read as follows: "Section 4.02. Pursuant to Section 7.01 (h) of the General Conditions, the following additional events are specified, namely that any of the events specified in paragraph (b) of Section 4.01 of this Agreement shall occur."
