The meeting was attended by the representatives of Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and United States. Also present were representatives of the Asian Development Bank, Commission of European Communities, International Finance Corporation and Development and the United Nations Development Programme. The Philippine delegation was led by the Honorable Cesar Virata, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. The documentation before the meeting consisted of the Economic Report of the Philippines and a paper entitled "The Agenda for Action in Agricul- ture: 1983-87", both prepared by the Government of the Philippines, and reports prepared by the ~Jorld Bank, entitled "Economic Adjustment Policies in the Philippines", "Philippines: Issues in the Rural Sector", "Philippines: Agricultural Credit Sector Review", and "Philippines: Irrigation Program Review''. -0-
