Objectives: The PAD (page 2) states that The KDP has higher overall development objectives of reducing poverty and improving local level governance in the affected areas. Development objectives for the Multi Donor Trust Fund for Aceh and North Sumatra Grant (MDTFANS)-financed KDP included: (i) institutionalizing participatory processes in local government; (ii) providing cost-effective, basic social and economic infrastructure; and (iii) strengthening the capacity of the micro-finance institutions to manage and monitor funds sustainably.
