Njoro research station no longer requires a row planter because it is not a priority as for now. So the total number of row planters has reduced by one i.e. from ten (10) to nine (9) 3. Njoro research station requires a special seed harvester for wheat. The seed harvester for wheat is slightly more expensive than the ordinary seed harvesters. So the funds that were meant for row planter for the station was re allocated to the special harvester to cushion the difference. 6 7
