Election of Members entitled to designate a person to serve on the Executive Board At its meeting on 20 May 2009, the General Committee, in accordance with Rule 100 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Health Assembly, drew up the following list of 12 Members, in the English alphabetical order, to be transmitted to the Health Assembly for the purpose of the election of 12 Members to be entitled to designate a person to serve on the Executive Board: Brunei Darussalam Burundi Canada Chile Estonia France Germany India Japan Serbia Somalia Syrian Arab Republic In the General Committee’s opinion these 12 Members would provide, if elected, a balanced distribution on the Board as a whole.
