Considering that Arabic i s presently used i n the Regional Committee for the Fastern Mediterranean and is also used i n cqrres- pondence with some Member States,

2. W:&UESTS the Regional Director to take a l l necessary practical steps for the expansion of the use of Arabic i n the Region as he finds practical for the achievement of th i s objective.
