Report on credentials

Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control Seventh session Delhi, India, 7 - 12 November 2016 FCTC/COP/7/2 8 November 2016 66 Report on credentials 66 1. The Bureau of the Conference of the Parties met on 8 November 2016 to examine the credentials submitted to the Convention Secretariat in accordance with Rule 19 of the Rules of Procedure of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. 2. The credentials of the representatives of the Parties listed in the Annex hereto were found to be in conformity with the Rules of Procedure. It is therefore proposed that the Conference of the Parties accept the credentials of those Parties. 3. The Bureau examined the credentials received from the Parties listed below which could not be considered as original credentials because they were received in the form of facimile or photocopy. It is therefore recommended to the Conference of the Parties that the representatives of the following Parties be entitled to participate provisionally in the session with all rights in the Conference, pending arrival of their formal credentials: Armenia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Sudan.
