RESOLUTION OF THANKS
The Regional Committee, Having brought its Sixty-second Session to a successful conclusion, 1. THANKS His Excellency, the Right Honourable Mr Madhav Kumar Nepal, Prime Minister of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, for graciously inaugurating the session and for his thought-provoking speech; THANKS the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr Margaret Chan, for her inspiring address and participation; CONVEYS its gratitude to His Excellency, Mr Umakant Chaudhary, Minister for Health and Population, His Excellency, Mr Khadga Bahadur Basyal, State Minister for Health and Population, the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the staff of the Ministry of Health and Population and other national authorities of the Government of Nepal; and CONGRATULATES the Regional Director, Dr Samlee Plianbangchang, and his staff for their efforts towards the successful and smooth conduct of the session.
