SEVENTY-THIRD WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY A73/1 Add.2 Geneva, Switzerland 15 May 2020 18–19 May 2020 Proposal for supplementary agenda item The Director-General has the honour to refer to a proposal received from Belize dated 6 May 2020, the Kingdom of Eswatini dated 22 April 2020, Guatemala dated 8 May 2020, the Republic of Haiti dated 30 April 2020, the Republic of Honduras dated 8 May 2020, the Republic of the Marshall Islands dated 5 May 2020, the Republic of Nauru dated 7 May 2020, the Republic of Nicaragua dated 21 April 2020, the Republic of Palau dated 29 April 2020, Paraguay dated 7 April 2020, Saint Kitts and Nevis dated 7 May 2020, Saint Lucia dated 4 May 2020, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines dated 12 May 2020 and Tuvalu dated 8 May 2020 for a supplementary agenda item, “Inviting Taiwan to participate in the World Health Assembly as an observer”.,1,2 In accordance with Rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Health Assembly, this proposal for a supplementary agenda item is submitted to the General Committee for its consideration. Supplementary documentation accompanying this proposal will be distributed if a corresponding agenda item is added by the Health Assembly. = = = 1 The title of the proposal has been reproduced as received.
