Approval of proposed programme and budget estimates [EM/RC12/R.3]

Having caref'uily examined the Proposed Programae and met Estimates for 1964 ; Bearing i n mind that projects financed under the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistqnce are planned for the i r estimated duration, 1. NOTES with satisfaction the prominence given to educatian and training i n the Rsgiaslal progruuae, the new approach t o msdical education and the continued emphaeis on p r o v l s i ~ s for fellowships; 2. APPReCIATES that cancer control, radiation protection, nutrition and mental health are continuing t o receive due consideration without detriment t o projects i n other f ields rmch as c o ~ c a b l e diseases control; 3. REITERATES the importance of inter-country programnes, and supports the requests submitted t o the Technical Assistance Bard for ac t iv i t ies included under a s heading, 4. ENXWES the proposed p rogram and budget for 1964 t o be imple- mented from the Regular b e e t of the World Health Organization, the Expanded Program of Technical Assistance funds, the Malaria Eradica- tion Special Account and the Special Account for C o h t y Water Supply; 5.
