Assessments for 2003 Report by the Director-General
1. The Fifty-fourth World Health Assembly adopted resolution WHA54.17 determining the assessed contributions of Members for the biennium 2002-2003 and further decided to review the assessments for 2003 at the Fifty-fifth World Health Assembly, after consideration by the Executive Board. 2. At its 109th session the Executive Board considered documents EB109/21 and EB109/INF.DOC./2 on the assessments for 2003, together with the comments contained in the report of the sixteenth meeting of its Administration, Budget and Finance Committee.1 The Board agreed to recommend that the Fifty-fifth World Health Assembly should maintain the assessments for 2003 as adopted in resolution WHA54.17, while taking steps to prepare for the biennium 2004-2005.2
ACTION BY THE HEALTH ASSEMBLY 3. The Health Assembly is invited to consider the recommendation of the Executive Board.
