Election of Members entitled to designate a person to serve on the Executive Board At its meeting on 21 May 2008, the General Committee, in accordance with Rule 102 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Health Assembly, drew up the following list of 10 Members, in the English alphabetical order, to be transmitted to the Health Assembly for the purpose of the election of 10 Members to be entitled to designate a person to serve on the Executive Board: Bangladesh Brazil Hungary Mauritania Mauritius Niger Oman Russian Federation Samoa Uganda In the General Committee’s opinion these 10 Members would provide, if elected, a balanced distribution on the Board as a whole.
