I take pleasure in submitting to the Chairman of the Sixth Regional Committee Meeting a report on the Te,hnical Discussions that took place for half a day on the 14, 15 and 17 September 1955. The following topics were suggested with regard to the theme for the 195' Technical Discussions:1. 2. The Approach and Management of the pre-school child, from one to six years. The Improvement of Nutrition in Rural Areas. The Collection and Analysis of Health Statistics.

In filling out the evaluation questionnaire of the Technical Discussions participants were requested to comment on the duration ~f the Technical Discussions. As no comments weye received that the sessions conducted were too long or too short, I take it that the duration was satisfactory and that the same pattern might be followed in 1956. C. H.
