Appointment of the Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean The Executive Board, Considering the provisions of Article 52 of the Constitution of WHO; Considering the nomination made by the Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean at its forty-eighth session, 1. REAPPOINTS Dr Hussein A. Gezairy as Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Region as from 1 October 2002; 2. AUTHORIZES the Director-General to issue to Dr Hussein A.
