INFLUENZA SURVEILLANCE Chile (26 May 1980). — 1 Sporadic cases are occurring among the general population o f Santiago. Hospital indices of influenza mor bidity remain low. One strain of influenza A (H1N1) similar to A/Brazil/11/78 (H1N1) was isolated from an 18-year old female hospitalized with influenza. ‘ See No. 23, p. 175.
