SEA/RC53/R1 REPORT OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR The Regional Committee, Having reviewed and discussed the report of the Regional Director containing highlights of the work of WHO in the South-East Asia Region for the period 1 July 1999 to 30 June 2000 (SEA/RC53/2), and Recalling its own resolution SEA/RC52/R2, relating to preparation of annual and biennial reports on the Work of WHO, 1. NOTES with satisfaction the progress made during this period in the implementation of WHO’s collaborative programmes and activities in the Region; 2. CONGRATULATES the Regional Director and his staff for bringing out a clear and comprehensive report, and 3. REQUESTS the Regional Director, that future reports should: • • highlight the results achieved and provide details of related financial expenditure, and provide more detailed information on flow of funds from both regular and extrabudgetary sources, country-wise and programme-wise.
