The Regional Committee may wish to comment on the provisional agenda of the seventy-fifth session of the Executive Board and on the efforts made to correlate the work of the Regional Committee, the Executive Board and the World HeaJth Assembly.

The provisional agenda of the seventy-fifth session of the Executive Board (January 1985) is used as the basis for a direct comparison of the work of the Regional Committee for the Western Pacific, the Executive Board and the World Health Assembly (See Annex 1). The provisional agenda of the seventy~fifth session of the Executive Board is attached as Annex 2 and the draft provisional agenda of the Thirty-eighth World Health Assembly (May 1985) is attached as Annex 3. The main items to be discussed by the governing bodies are the" proposed programme budget estimates, 1986-1987, the report on the work of WHO, and women, health and development. Items on the provisional agenda of the Regional Committee which, it is hoped, may precede debate at the global level are hepatitis as a public health problem and the WHO Guidelines for drinking-water quality, both of which have arisen out of the concern expressed by Member States.
