The CHAIRMAN stated that the Committee had nOll reached the end of
its work.
He thanked the representatives for their understanding and
encouragement which had. permitted him to carry on his task as Chairman. He also thanked the Regional Director and his staff who had been of
invaluable help to him..
He appreciated the many difficulties that they He
had faced and congratulated them on the good work they had done.
further expressed his gratitude to all his friends in the Philippines for their hospitality. The Chairmn wished the representatives a. pleasant journey and
expressed the hope that they would all be together again next year.
Be then declared the seventeenth session of the Regional Committee closed. The meeting rose at 4.35 p.m.
