Betting, Gaming and Lotteries (Amendment) Act 1984 (repealed)

After subsection (1) of section 10 of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (licensed betting office to be managed in accordance with the rules set out in Schedule 4 to that Act) there shall be inserted the following subsections:—.

Accordingly, in subsection (2) of the said section 10, for the words " the foregoing subsection " there shall be substituted the words " subsection (1) of this section ".

This Act may be cited as the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries (Amendment) Act 1984; and the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Acts 1963 to 1980 and this Act may be cited together as the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Acts 1963 to 1984.

Sections 1 and 3 of this Act shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which this Act is passed; and section 2 of this Act shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument appoint.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
