Local Government (Amendment) Act 1993
Amendment of section 11 of Local Government Act 1966.
subsection section-1-1
For section 11 of the Local Government Act 1966 there shall be substituted the following—
subsection section-1-2
Subsection (1) above does not apply in any case where the expenditure was incurred before 1st April 1993.
Financial provisions.
There shall be paid out of moneys provided by Parliament—
level section-2-a
any expenses of the Secretary of State incurred in consequence of this Act; and
level section-2-b
any increase attributable to this Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other enactment.
Citation, commencement and extent.
subsection section-3-1
This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Amendment) Act 1993.
subsection section-3-2
This Act shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.
subsection section-3-3
This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland or to Scotland.
