Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 (repealed)

Section 5 of the Football (Disorder) Act 2000 (which makes provision limiting the duration in force of provisions inserted by that Act into the Football Spectators Act 1989) is amended as set out in subsections (2) and (3).
For subsection (2) there is substituted—
Subsections (3) to (5) are repealed.
In consequence of the provision made by subsection (3), in section 3(4) of the Football (Disorder) Act 2000 (which makes provision as to the parliamentary procedure applicable to certain orders), the words “An order under section 5(4), and” are repealed.

This Act may be cited as the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002.
Section 1 shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument appoint.
This Act extends to England and Wales only.
