Ragwort Control Act 2003
Control of ragwort
After section 1 of the Weeds Act 1959 (c. 54) there is inserted—

subsection section-2-1
The reference to the Weeds Act 1959 in Schedule 1 to the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672) is to be treated as referring to that Act as amended by this Act.

Subsection (1) does not affect the power to make further Orders varying or omitting that reference.
Short title, commencement and extent
subsection section-3-1
This Act may be cited as the Ragwort Control Act 2003.
subsection section-3-2
This Act comes into force at the end of the period of three months beginning with the day on which it is passed.
subsection section-3-3
This Act extends to England and Wales only.
