Page 1 CONFORMED COPY LOAN NUMBER 4534 UA Loan Agreement (Kiev Public Buildings Energy Efficiency Project) between UKRAINE and INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT Dated April 25, 2000 LOAN NUMBER 4534 UA LOAN AGREEMENT AGREEMENT, dated April 25, 2000, between UKRAINE (the Borrower) and INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT (the Bank). WHEREAS (A) the Borrower, having satisfied itself as to the feasibility and priority of the project described in Schedule 2 to this Agreement (the Project), has requested the Bank to assist in the financing of the Project; (B) the Government of Sweden has agreed to extend a grant to the Kiev City State Administration (Kiev CSA) in a principal amount equivalent up to two million Dollars ($2,000,000) (the Swedish Grant) to assist in financing part of the Project on the terms and conditions set forth in the relevant arrangement; (C) the Project will be carried out by Kiev CSA with the Borrower
