The compilation of the RAP has followed the guidelines of the World Bank (OD 4.30 and Draft OP 4.12) The report is based on the RAP for Chongqing Wastewater prepared by SASS. However, in order to comply with the Draft OP 4.1 2 certain additions/explanations have been made to the original text. Furthermore, certain chapters have been re-organised to follow more closely the requirements of the World Bank (as requested in the Aide Memoire of September 1 999).
