I submit for your approval the following memorandum and recommendation on a proposed credit to the Kingdom of Nepal for 36.6 million SDR (equivalent to US$50.5 million) to help finance the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Project. The credit would be on IDA's standard terms with 40 years maurity including 10 years of grace. The beneficiary would be the Department of Roads (DOR) in the Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT). The Project would be cofinanced by the United Kingdom Overseas Development Administration - ODA - (
