We also refer to the request made through a letter dated August 24, 2000, from Mr. V. Jayaraman, Deputy Director, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, requesting the Association to utilize three million, five hundred thousand United States Dollars (US$3,500,000) of the Project savings to finance some additional activities.
