Box 3 02 Cotonou, BENIN Excellency: Re.: Credit 2344-BEN (IVatural Resources'Management Project) Amendment to the Development Credit Agreement We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (the Agreement) between the Republic of Benin (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association) dated April 9, 1992, as well as to your letter of September 6, 1995, requesting an amendment to the Agreement. We are pleased to inform you that the Association hereby agrees to amend the Agreement as follows: The amount in paragraph 1 (c) of Schedule 4 to the Agreement shall be amended to read: "CFAF 400,000,000 Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing by countersigning and dating the form of confirmation on the two original copies of this letter and returning one countersigned original to us for our records.
