Tertius Zongo Minister of Economy and Finance Ministry of Economy and Finance Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso Excellency: Credit No. 2378 BUR (Public Institutional Development Project) Credit No. 2381 BUR (Agricultural Sector Adjustment Credit) Credit No. 2414 BUR (Food Security and Nutrition Project) Amendment of Development Credit Agreements (Change in Debt Service Due Dates) We refer to (i) the Development Credit Agreement, dated June 29, 1992, for the Public Institutional Development Project, between Burkina Faso (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association); (ii) the Development Credit Agreement, dated October 6, 1992 for the Agricultural Sector Adjustment Credit, between the Borrower and the Association; (iii) the Development Credit Agreement, dated October 6, 1992, for the Food Security and Nutrition Project, between the Borrower and the Association (the above-referenced agreements are hereinafter referred to as the Agreements); (iv) to your letter, dated February 18, 1998, in which you requested us to amend the Agreements in order to modify the debt service due dates; and (v) to the recent discussions held between yourself and the Association relating to said request. We are pleased to inform you that the Association accedes to your request and agrees, accordingly, to amend the Agreements as follows (with changes indicated in bold): I.
