Joint Press Release INTERNATIONAL INTERNATIONAL BANK INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND FOR RECONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION For Immediate Release Subject: Membership of Niger April 24., 1963 Niger today became a member of the International Monetary Fund, the Inter- national Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank), and the Inter- national Development Association when the Articles of Agreement of the three institutions were signed in Washington on behalf of the Republic of Niger by the Ambassador, His Excellency Abdou Sidikou. Niger's quota in the International Monetary Fund is $7,500,000; its sub- scription to the capital stock of the International Bank is 100 shares with a * total par value of $10,000,000; and its subscription to the International Development Association is $500,000. Membership in the three organizations and the total quota of the Fund and total subscriptions of the Bank and IDA are now: No. of Members Total Fund 85 $ 15,231,2oo,ooo Bank 84 20,719,800,000 IDA 75 968,250,000
