Tertius Zongo Minister of Economy and Finance Ministry of Economy and Finance Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso Excellency, Re: Food Security and Nutrition Project (Cr. 2414-BUR) Amendment to Development Credit Agreement We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (the Agreement) for the Food Security and Nutrition Project, dated October 6, 1992, between Burkina Faso (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association). We also refer to your letter no 1554/MEF/SG/DG.COOP/DCM/OAJ-DHB dated October 27, 1997 requesting amendments to the Agreement. We are pleased to inform you that the Association accedes to your request and agrees, accordingly, to amend the Agreement as follows (with changes indicated in bold): 1. Section 3.01.(a) is deleted and replaced by the following:
