Mr. Roch March Christian KABORE Minister of State, and Minister of Finance and Planning B.P. 7050 Ouagadougou - Burkina Faso Re: BURKINA FASO: Food Security and Nutrition Project (Credit No. 2414-BUR) Amendment to Development Credit Agreement Excellency, We refer to the above-mentioned Agreement, dated October 6, 1992 (the Agreement), between Burkina Faso (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association), and to your letter, dated May 21, 1993, wherein you have requested the Association to have the Agreement amended in order to delete therein any reference to the recruitment of technical assistants for purposes of the effectiveness conditions. We are pleased to inform you that the Association accedes to your request and agrees, accordingly, to amend the Agreement by deleting in Section 7.01 (i) thereof the words "technical assistants and other". Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing amendment, on behalf of the Borrower, by signing and dating the confirmation form on the enclosed copy of this letter and returning it to us for our records.
