Page 1 October 30, 1992 His Excellency Famara Sagna Minister of the Economy, Finance and Planning Rue Charles Laine Dakar, Senegal Amendment: Agricultural Services Project (No. 2108) Excellency: We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (Agricultural Services Project), dated April 24, 1990, between the Republic of Senegal (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association). Further to the discussions held with the representatives of the Borrower, we are pleased to inform you that the Association hereby agrees to the following amendment to the above-referenced Development Credit Agreement: Schedule 1, Paragraph 2 is amended and restated to read in its entirety as follows: "2. For purposes of this schedule, the term "operating costs" means expenditures related to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, allowances of field staff, office supplies, and telephone, electricity, water and fascimilie services." This amendment shall apply to any expenditure incurred on or after July 6, 1990. Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing by countersigning and dating the form of confirmation on the two original copies of this letter provided and returning one original, as countersigned, to us. This amendment shall become effective as of the date of receipt by the Association of this letter duly countersigned by you.
