Page 1 January 29, 1991 The Secretary to the Government of India Ministry of Finance Department of Economic Affairs New Delhi, India Dear Sir: INDIA - Vocational Training Project - Amendment Credit 2008-IN Please refer to the Development Credit Agreement dated June 16, 1989 (the "Development Credit Agreement") between India and the International Development Association (the "Association"). In response to the request from Mr. Hardeepak Singh, Director, Department of Economic Affairs vide his telex dated 10 December 1990, we are pleased to inform you that the Association agrees to amend the Development Credit Agreement for the purpose of increasing the limit under prudent local shopping. Accordingly, the Association agrees to amend the Development Credit Agreement as follows: 1. Part C of Schedule 3 to the Development Credit Agreement is amended as follows: (a) The amount "$118,500,000" in paragraph (2) is deleted and the amount "$106,000,000" is substituted therefor. (b) The amount "$24,800,000" in paragraph (3) is deleted and the amount "$37,300,000 is substituted therefor. Please confirm your agreement on behalf of India to the foregoing amendment by signing and dating this letter in the space provided below. This amendment may be executed in two counterparts each of which shall be an original. Upon your confirmation, please return one fully executed original to the Association. This amendment will be effective as of the date of this letter upon receipt by the Association of one fully executed original of this amendment.
