WORLD BANK SIGN THREE APTUSTMENT LOANS WASKINGTON, June 16, 1989 -- The Government of Mexico and the World Bank signed today the three quick-disbursing adjustment loans to support reforms in the financial and industrial sectors and in the public enterprises. These loans, amounting to $1.5 billion, were approved by the Bank on Tuesday, June 13. 1939 The IoAn signing was held this afternoon at the World Bank's headquarters. Mexico's Ambassador to the United States, Lic. Guatavo Perictoli, signed on behalf of the Mexican government and Lic. Luis Nava signed for Nacional Financiers. The Regional Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean, Mr. S. shhd Hupnin, signed for the World Banr The operations signed today, each for $500 million, are the financial sector adjustment, the industrial sector policy, and the public enterprise reform loans.
