TELEPHONE: EXECUTIVE 3-6360 PRESS RELEASE No. 606 SUBJECT: .Agricultural Survey Mission October 12, 1959 to Peru Recommendations for a broad program of agricultural development in Peru were published today in a report prepared by a survey mission organized. jointly by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Bank. The mission, which went to Peru at the request of the Government, was headed by Roland R. Renne, President of Montana Sta.t.e College. • Seven FAO experts served as members of the mission and four as con- sultants; the mission also included two members of the Bank's staff and three consultants specially engaged for this assignment.
