The Republic of Djibouti has at the same time become a member of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), an affiliate of the World • Bank. World Bank membership has now increased to 139 and IFC to 118. The People's Republic of the Cong,), a member of the World Bank and the Inter- national Development Association (IDA), became the 117th member of the I FC on October 1, 1980.
