Hansen, chief of mission Caroline Doggart, industrial economist George Faillace, public investment analyst Joachim Harnack, economist for banking and public finance Alexander Nowicki, Departmental Senior Economist, advised the mission during its stay in Guatemala and prepared the chapter on "Human Resources and the Social Scene." The report was discussed with the Guatemalan government in September 1977 and sub- sequently updated.
