The project has achieved 93.5 percent physical progress and about 87 percent financial progress (relative to the overall project revised cost of US$207.3 million; US$100 million from the MDF grant and US$ 107.3 million as contribution from the government of Indonesia. In August 2010 the project received a suplemental additional financing of US$36.7 million to rehabilitate and reconstruct arount 50 km along Aceh West Coast national road from Calang to Meulaboh including Kuala Bubun Bridge. Fifty sub-projects out of total fifty six have been completed, involving reconstruction of infrastructure and restoration of services related to water supply, roads, ports, and drainage and flood control. The MoPW and the local authorities had were advised to allocate adequate budgets for future maintenance, repair and rehabilitation to ensure sustainability of the assets completed under IRFF. Moreover, it was agreed that the registration of these assets into the books of the relevant authorities deemed necessary for their sustainability. 2. The next mission will take place in June 2011.
