The mission was composed of: Edmond Asfour (Chief of Mission), Ram Chopra and Yves Franchet (General Economists), Montek Ahluwalia, D. C. Rao, and Kazuko Artus (Fiscal Economists), Jean Casati (Inidustrial Economist, Consultant), Raymond Christensen (Agricultural Economist), and Thomas Klein and Anne Culver (Debt Specialists). The Transport section is based on part of the findings of a transport mission which was in Turkey in April 1972. The chief of mission made a short visit to Turkey in August 1972.
