WHO EPIDEMIOLOGICAL INFORMATION SERVICE TO MEMBER STATES1 In order to assist Member States an Automatic Telex Reply Service was established at WHO Headquarters Geneva on 11 De cember 1972. Each Friday important information received during the week, and intended for publication in the Weekly Epidemiological Re cord, is summarized and made available on the Automatic Telex Reply Service. The information can be obtained simply by calling telex No. 28150 in Geneva, exchanging identification codes, and composing the symbol ZCZC followed by the symbol ENGL for a reply in English or the symbol FRAN for a reply in French. The message will then be transmitted automatically to the caller. The end o f the message will be indicated by the symbol NNNN. The operator making the call should then exchange identification codes once more and terminate the communication. The cost of hiring and operating the telex machine is borne by the Organization.
