Appointment of the Regional Director for the Americas The Executive Board, Considering the provisions of Article 52 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization; Considering the nomination made by the Regional Committee for the Americas at its sixty-fourth session,1 1. APPOINTS Dr Carissa Faustina Etienne as Regional Director for the Americas as from 1 February 2013; and 2. AUTHORIZES the Director-General to issue a contract to Dr Carissa Faustina Etienne for a period of five years as from 1 February 2013, subject to the provisions of the Staff Regulations and Staff Rules.
