At its first meeting held on 13 May 2002, the Committee on Nominations decided to propose to the World Health Assembly, in accordance with Rule 25 of the Rules of Procedure of the Health Assembly, the following nominations: Vice-Presidents of the Assembly: Mrs J. Phumaphi (Botswana) Professor V.F. Moskalenko (Ukraine) Mr S.S. Bhandari (Nepal) Mr B.R. Mooa (Kiribati) Dr A.J.M. Suleiman (Oman) Committee A: Committee B: Chairman – Dr J. Concerning the members of the General Committee to be elected under Rule 31 of the Rules of Procedure of the Health Assembly, the Committee decided to nominate the delegates of the following 17 countries: Barbados, China, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, France, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and United States of America. = = =
