WHOOPING COUGH D ominica — Through the end of May 1971, 1 508 cases of whooping cough with three deaths have been reported Since 1945 epidemics of similar magnitude have occurred only five times- m 1946, 1947, 1950,1956 and most recently, in 1963, when more than 4 000 cases were reported in the course o f the year
