DISCONTINUATION OF SMALLPOX VACCINATION On 5 june 1982, the Ministry o f Health, Kuwait, informed WHO that routine smallpox vaccination had been discontinued in Kuwait Thus, to date routine smallpox vaccination has been discontinued in 151 of the 158 WHO Member States and Associated Members. Infor mation on vaccination policy in the remaining seven countries is being awaited.
