Membership of the Sub-Committee on Programmes and Technical Cooperation (Resolution)

WPR/RC37.R5 MEMBERSHIP OF THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON PROGRAMMES AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION The Regional Committee, Recalling operative paragraph 2 of resolution WPR/RC36.R13, endorsing the amalgamation of the Sub-Committees on the General Programme of Work and on Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries into one sub-committee to be called the Sub-Committee on Programmes and Technical Cooperation, and its proposed terms of reference and membership; Noting that the periods of tenure as members of the Sub-Committee of the representatives of Fiji, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and Singapore end at the thirty-seventh session of the Regional Committee; 1. DECIDES to appoint the representatives of New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Viet Nam as members of the Sub-Committee on Programmes and Technical Cooperation for three years from the thirty-seventh session, in addition to the representatives of Australia, China, Cook Islands, Japan, Samoa and the United States of America; 2. THANKS the representatives of Fiji, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and Singapore for their services to the Sub-Committee. Seventh meeting, 18 September 1986
