Committee on Nominations Second report
At its meeting held on 19 May 2008, the Committee on Nominations decided to propose to the Health Assembly, in accordance with Rule 25 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Health Assembly, the following nominations: Vice-Presidents of the Health Assembly: Mrs Emilienne Raoul (Congo) Ms Maret Maripuu (Estonia) Dr Ponmek Dalaloy (Lao People’s Democratic Republic) Dr Abdul Azeez Yoosuf (Maldives) Dr K. Abdelgadir (Sudan)
Committee A: Chairman – Dr Francesco Cicogna (Italy) Committee B: Chairman – Dr Anastácio Ruben Sicato (Angola) Concerning the members of the General Committee to be elected under Rule 31 of the Rules of Procedure of the World Health Assembly, the Committee decided to nominate the delegates of the following 17 countries: Argentina, Cameroon, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Russian Federation, Slovenia, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America, Yemen.
